GPA Monitoring for UT 4-Year Scholarships

A student’s Grade Point Average (GPA) is monitored annually and reviewed by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at the end of every spring semester. If the student does not have the required cumulative GPA at that time, scholarship eligibility is lost moving forward.

If the student experienced extenuating circumstances that affected their ability to meet the minimum requirements, they can submit a written appeal for the loss of their scholarship.

Approved appeals grant probationary eligibility for the next semester.
