Tennessee Explore Scholarship Program

Our Tennessee Explore Scholarship program exclusively recognizes out-of-state students with an excellent academic record and gives greater access to the opportunities available here at Tennessee.

Admitted first-year, out-of-state students with a minimum 3.6 GPA* who apply for admission by December 15 of their senior year in high school will be automatically considered for these institutional scholarships. New test scores to determine eligibility for the Tennessee Explore Scholarship must be received by July 1. You must matriculate the fall semester immediately following your graduation from a US high school and be a US citizen, permanent resident, or domestic international student to be considered.

In order to keep the Tennessee Explore Scholarship, you’re required to:

  • Maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and federal Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
  • Maintain full-time enrollment throughout each semester
