International Tennessee Explore Scholarship

Our International Tennessee Explore Scholarship program exclusively recognizes international students with an excellent academic record and gives greater access to the opportunities available here at Tennessee.

Incoming first-year, international students (Non-resident visa holder who will not graduate from a US high school) with a minimum 3.6 GPA* who apply for admission by May 1 of their final year in high school will be automatically considered for these institutional scholarships. New test scores to determine eligibility for the Tennessee Explore Scholarship are due by July 1, 2024. You must matriculate the fall semester immediately following your high school graduation. International students who reside in the United States and will graduate from a US high school should refer to the in-state and out-of-state scholarships webpage.

In order to keep the Tennessee Explore Scholarship, you’re required to:

  • Maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) and good academic standing
  • Maintain full-time enrollment throughout each semester
