Vol Academic Recovery – Graduate Students

As part of the funding distribution for the Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) portion of the American Rescue Plan, the Vol Academic Recovery Grant for Graduate students is designed to award funding to UT graduate students who can demonstrate a delay in the completion of their program due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In order to be considered for this award, you will be required to fill out an application using the below link.

The deadline to submit your application is Thursday, September 30, 2021.

Before submitting the form, however, please be ready to provide the following information:

  • your intended graduation date
  • your current graduation date
  • a description of no more than 100 words of how the pandemic impacted your intended graduation date
  • a description of no more than 100 words of how the delay in graduation impacts you financially
  • the NetID of your graduate advisor

 

Submit Your Application

 

Once the application has been submitted, it will be routed to your advisor for confirmation and to the Graduate School for consideration. You will be notified that your submission has been received.

If you are determined to be eligible for an award, you will receive a notification in mid-October.
