Updated July 2026. Use this page to estimate the annual cost of attending UT as an undergraduate student. The figures below include charges billed by UT and estimated expenses such as books, transportation, housing, food, and personal needs. Your actual costs will depend on your residency, academic program, housing choice, financial aid, and personal spending.

Tuition charges may also vary depending on your program of study. Additional pre credit hours fees are assessed for students taking courses in architecture, business administration, engineering and nursing.

UT reserves the right to adjust tuition charges when deemed necessary. Official fees are set by the UT Board of Trustees in June/July of each year.

This is an estimate of what a student will spend on books for the Fall and Spring semesters. Undergraduates will see a Total Access Program  charge of $249 (Fall/Spring Semester) or $79 (Summer Semester) in their cost of attendance and financial statements each term. This is included in all undergraduate student statements as a flat fee that covers all textbook and material costs.
