Repay Your Loans
For information on repaying UT loans and Federal Perkins Loans, check with the UT Student Loan Department.
For federal loans, you can go to StudentLoans.gov and look in the Managing Repayment section for calculators; information if you have trouble making payments; loan forgiveness options; and information on Federal Direct loans that are: subsidized, unsubsidized, parent PLUS, and graduate/professional PLUS.
The state of Tennessee posts information on several types of loan forgiveness programs. For help with other types of loans including budget concerns and special circumstances, contact the lender.
You can order additional diplomas from UT by submitting an order form. Information about the cost, the size, and the method of payment is posted on the form.
Take Classes as a Non-Degree Student
If you have already earned a Bachelor’s degree and you’re not seeking another undergraduate degree, you may take classes at UT as a non-degree seeking student. The Undergraduate Admissions Office has more information posted to guide you through readmission and registration. Non-degree students are not eligible to receive financial aid.
The Office of Alumni Affairs and Development promotes UT and provides a variety of programs, events, and services that help to serve our alumni base of over 220,000 worldwide. You can choose from several programs to participate in, including: Awards, Baby Vol Club, Black Alumni Program, Chancellor’s Associates, Alumni Travel Program, Reunions, and Young Alumni.
The historic Tyson House, in the heart of campus, serves as the home of the Knoxville campus office, as well as the University of Tennessee Alumni Association. It’s open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
